This is one of the best fans we bought so far. We got this to match our living room barn/industrial style decor and it elevated the room. Build quality is awesome and the wood grained look is amazing.Installation is breeze. If you have installed Hunter fans in the past, the installation process for this fan is very similar to that. One thing I would suggest is get different wire nuts. The ones provided in the installation kit is very small.It took time for us to understand how remote works. The fan takes ~5 seconds after pressing the on button to work. The remote has a light button even though the fan does not have a light. You can control fan direction straight from the remote which is awesome and you don't have to climb up at the end of winter to change direction. Note that the fan can only be turned on with remote, if you are planning to use this with smart switch, it is not going to work.Some tips that might help others -1. Don't tighten all fan blades at ones, make sure they are evenly placed and tighten slowly.2. If you hear sound from fan running, make sure to pull it firmly and make sure it sits in the ceiling mount.3. Use bigger wire nuts and strip wires lil bit more before installationOverall quality product within budget. Similar fans costs a ton in big box stores. I would totally recommend it.The fan looks AWESOME, but it’s a bit loud. This will be in our living room, and the aesthetic value outweighs the whirring, but I wish is was as quiet as the Hunter in the kitvhenWe’ve been putting up 6 fans and this one is by FAR the quietest. Sleek looking and puts off a LOT of air depending on the speed. Highly recommend this fan.Replaced a fan with a light, not my style. I am adding 6-8 recessed lights in the ceiling and wanted a simple fan without a light. I am quite pleased as stated in the title. No hum from the motor, moves plenty of air for my tastes on low and the remote works well and easy to set up with the fan. I did notice the embossed diagram of battery placement in the remote batter compartment was incorrect. I put the batteries in opposite of what is shown and it worked just fine.Fan very noisyQuiet, puts out a lot of airLooks great and works great. Love the size.Easy installation.
